Does anybody else think that the insurgents held off today because
they were just waiting to see who was elected so that they would know who to kill. All this euphoria is going to go downhill fast wheh the shit hits the fan.

2. I have the feeling there will be retribution
I would be washing that purple shit off my finger mighty quick.

They say they won't have the results til about Feb 15 or 20.

I feel uneasy, but I accounted it to my general pessimistic attitude that inhabits me lately.

4. Maybe the "winners" will be kept a secret too!
BTW what were the criteria for being a candidate in this sham election?
Has the MSM looked into this?

Or what about Bremer's 97 edicts before the tranfer to Allawi and the actual versus touted independence of this puppet regime?

And where are the exit polls?

6. Weren't 36 peeps killed today?
and that number didn't include Blair's victims.
Rational people should be worried if they aren't uneasy. It suggests the koolaid is spreading. This was another waste of money.

7. yes and no
they didn't hold off that much -- 8 or 9 suicide bombers, dozens dead. Just another day in the Green Zone.
