Machinists Union Endorses Dean for DNC Chairman
the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) today announced its support for former Vermont Governor Howard Dean to become Chairman of the Democratic National Committee (DNC).
"We believe Governor Dean can provide a strong voice for working Americans and union members," said IAM International President Tom Buffenbarger, a longtime DNC member. "He has the experience needed to run a large organization and the proven ability to raise the money and generate the momentum needed to revitalize the Democratic Party."
The IAM is one of the largest industrial unions in North America and represents nearly 380,000 active members under more than 4,500 separate agreements.

2. Fantastic
Just fantastic. Too early to count any chickens yet (plus, being an Army wife for 7 years once upon a time showed me in spades that you don't COUNT on anything until it's in writing, and even then ....), but it sure is lookin' good.
