MY RESPONSE:

Somehow I knew you would appreciate but disagree with
my concerns. Gonzales is a man who supported torture
and given the climate of this country at present I can
see why he has been made attorney general. Rather
fits in with the whole patriot act, guilty until
proven innocent mentality so prevalent nowadays in
Washington.

While you may find it an honor to be in the senate,
rest assured you have never, not once to my knowledge
served me or my interests.

As our freedoms are torn asunder and Mr. Gonzales
takes his place in this administration I'm sure the
republicans are happy to have the time to turn their
attention to the ripping away of the security of
social security and enriching the pockets of the
corporations who will be awarded the private accounts.
Will the administration be investing that money in
Halliburton by chance? Maybe Pfizer?

PLEASE, PLEASE whoever reads this to do NOT bother to
send me back an "I appreciate your concerns BUT" email
or letter.

Warmest regards,

2. I'm so weary
of allen pretending like he gives a rat's ass about anything but the republican agenda. He makes me want to puke.

6. Me either
and I hate to say that I don't much care for our governor. At least he isn't a republican, though.

8. I kinda like our governor
He could be more liberal, but look at what he has done with the budget. I think he has a shot one day at the white house.

3. I heard him
the other day for the first time that I can recall and I almost felt sorrier for you guys than for me but not quite (Brownback, Roberts). It stinks, that is the same letter I always get when they actually decide to answer me. He is really creepy that Allen.

5. Notice how the coward didn't actually say he would be voting for Gonzales.
Obviously, there is no I.Q. test to run for the Senate either.

7. Don't you just hate those congressional reply letters?
They are all 100% bogus, in my opinion. I'd rather they didn't bother, their replies are so useless.

9. The truth about George Allen
In case you missed my thread last week in which I expounded at length about my old high school classmate, let me provide a brief summary:

Allen's idea of home decor is a huge Confederate flag tacked to his living room wall.

When he was practicing law before launching his political career, Allen had a noose prominently displayed in his law office.

As a senior at Palos Verdes High School in Southern California in 1969, Allen spraypainted anti-white racist graffiti on the walls of the school in order to stir up some good old fashioned racial hatred against black students at a nearby school we were scheduled to play in football that week. He was probably the only teenager in Southern California to have Confederate flags all over his car.

Allen is a piece of work.

10. let us also not forget...
He beat his first wife to a pulp (on a regular basis) when they lived in Charlottesville.

Broke his brother's collar bone when that brother tried to stop Allen from pulling their sister down a flight of stairs...by her hair!

Such a good lil christian that Allen is.
