This is nice post. Thoughtful. It points out the importance of DFA in funding local candidates in a way the DNC can not yet do, and working for voting change.

Dear DFA Bloggers,

Thank you all so much for all the incredibly beautiful tulips! And thank you also for all the help in the DNC campaign! The challenge here has just begun.

I'm visiting DFA for a staff lunch, and since all of you are part of the family too, the message is, please keep it up. Even though I'm at the DNC, there still is a huge amount of valuable work to be done by DFA. Election reform via referendum, local candidates races, the Dean Dozen in municipal elections, and state races. The list goes on.

I will definitely be visiting the blog once in a while, and definitely be encouraging all you do. The only thing I can't do is get involved with fundraising, or directing DFA with projects in any way. But you all have been doing your own projects for two years, and I have a lot of confidence in Tom Hughes and in the DFA staff—and of course in my brother Jim, who many of you know from the campaign and DFA.

In any case, thank you for the tulips, and also thank you for all you've done for our country. We're not done yet, and as far as DFA goes, I hope to be in touch with you often enough so that we don't miss each other.

I am glad he explained a little more about his relation to DFA. There has been a lot of speculation, but the goals will all help our party.

DFA can accomplish things that the DNC is not set up to do yet.

He can not engage in projects or fundraising. That was clear.

What a nice gesture..to remind us that Spring isn't too far away.

I love this guy and what he has to say..DFA and DNC will both be successful and get our message to the people in spite of the fascist media!

But it makes me so sad that DFA won't have his sterling leadership for a while. Boohooo.

Oh well. I guess we can give him up for bigger things, eh?
