Gannon--Simply a Prostitute or Simply a Spy???

By every standard of journalism, the Gannon story should be THE number one, front page story across the nation with swarms of journalists digging frantically into this situation. Prostitution and/or "sexual affairs" has always been a potentially lethal mix with "power".

Both have been the tools used by spies since Shep was a pup. The intimacy is used to either pump information out of the victim; or, much more effectively, it is used as a blackmail tool to get info and secrets from the victim. It's also used to force the "powerful" victim to make and implement decisions that the people who the spy works for want implemented.

Obviously in a press room where even well-known journalists like Dowd have to go through extensive FBI background checks, Gannon already has a degree of power over the 'powerful' to have been let so easily in the door. How far up the ladder does his power already go??? Who does he ultimately work for?? We just had a gay lover involved with the Gov. of NJ who fled back to Israel. Does Gannon/Gluckert have any ties with Israel, for example??

The very fact that this is being brushed off by the media also indicates that his power extends to mighty high places who can assure that this well worn path that spies use does not even warrent "journalistic" investigation. How do we know---he might be working for bin Laden. How do we know what his ultimate target is or was?? Do you think he did this just to 'play' reporter??? Spies don't usually march down the street wearing a turbin and shooting a gun. They infiltrate. Something certainly does smell in the White House and in that propaganda mill we call journalism, doesn't it???

that is if there is anybody left in the real press (the ones with a day job that involves investigating the news) who has any balls left. Kind of hard for us who are just plain citizens to get our asses down to washington and find out who was keeping James Gluckert in suits. Somebody ought to get his credit report, his tax returns, freaking go through his garbage and find a paycheck. Do your f'ing job new media!

Frankly, if I were the White House I know exactly what I'd do to "damage control" this situation. All the pieces are in place, it would absolutely work, and doesn't even involve anyones death. The fact they haven't done it yet is, to me, VERY interesting. Someone, somewhere MUST have some very sturdy strings, and they are being pulled HARD.

I would not be surprised if he has been given/promised financial rewards for his silence and that he also received sizable payoffs for his propaganda efforts during the past several years. There must be evidence out there to be discovered.

journalists (other than propaganda peddlers) in this country the BIG story would be the possiblity (as I stated in my post) of espionage. For god's sake we've seen governments topple in the last 50 years because of 'lovers', 'prostitutes', etc. being discovered and the very real concern of what state secrets might have been revealed. And the fact that one gay lover got all the way to the gov of NJ and was an Israli should put out even more signals. We are suppose to be afraid of terrible, horrible, terrorists infiltrating this country and these fuckheads aren't even half way curious about this. Geeeees, bin Laden, it ain't so hard to bring this country down. You don't have to bother blowing it up--you can just walk right in and unzip your pants.

These guys are always claiming that homosexuals are as much of a threat to America as terraists, even condemning "gay" cartoon characters (and Muppets). Yet a real life Sodomite is allowed regular close up access to their sainted Monkey Boy pResident, and they have nothing to say?

So I guess the next disaster will be 100% laid on the doorstep of the Bush Administration for using Monica Gannon.
