2. What was it some were saying after the first attempted oust of Chavez?
"the Bush Jr. administration's behaviour screams out for 'Adult Supervision'.

Looks like the UN & Europe are doing all they can to make sure America has a soft landing for all this utopian insanity - because it is in nobody's interest if the USA is humiliated (see neocon writings on how 'shame cause WWII'). The rest of the world 'has your back' so to say. Someone like Chavez doesn't owe anyone anything. He did nothing to the USA (except for offend the oil barons perhaps by sharing the Venezuelan wealth with the people - good enough reason for Bush & pals to have a go at him). Why should he want to die? - he got elected fair & square. He will get booted out in a few years. And the fact that he plans to hit the USA over the head with 'lack of oil' if he is murdered implies that this man knows how to get to the heart of the matter.

7. OK, now that we're off the "latest" page.
And the freepers have copied the article over to their own site...

What turned my attention to Venezuela?

Well, they apperently don't think we read anything over there unless it relates to Gannon:

JG wannabe? Why not just use this "Freepmail" I hear they have?

Also, another article on Venezuela that was worth the read:
