I never heard Bush specifically talk about any plan. Just "debunk" Kerry and all that mess. And of course all the reps were saying how they didn't know Kerry's plan. Maybe if you listened to him. Duh. I never once heard what W was going to do for me. Just Iraq, Iraq, Iraq!

My in-laws are members of AARP and receive their monthly publication. Just before the election, AARP presented their voter guide to "clarify" where the candidates stood on various topics such as SS privatization and prescription drug costs.

Kerry stated each of his positions very clearly, and all were in complete agreement with those of AARP.

Bush refused to state his position on ANYTHING, and yet millions of seniors voted for this piece of shit.

Iraq was invaded so Bush could be re-elected. No war time pres ever lost an election.

Bush hid his plans behind gay marriage and abortion to bring out Christians. Once they voted him in, he could say they supported his half-baked ideas.

for those who really believe in democracy, you explain your programs to the American people; you don't hide them ... you understand that an informed electorate is necessary for democracy to exist ...

bush began his first days in office 4 years ago by holding clandestine meetings between cheney and oil industry execs ... to this day, they have refused to release the details of those meetings ...

bush has been about creating fake media outlets (e.g. Williams and Gannon) and paying right-wingers to support a misinformation campaign ... deceiving the American people should not be a core principle of American democracy ...

the 9/11 report was held until AFTER the election ... 52 incidents of clear notification about the risks of an attack using American aircraft ... would this have affected the outcome of the election? we'll never know ...

and then we get bush's new budget with draconian cuts for an array of critical programs for veterans, the elderly, the poor and America's students ... you can hardly claim a mandate when the details of these severe cutbacks were intentionally hidden from voters for political reasons ...

Democrats need to start educating Americans that this administration is hiding its dark, evil secrets from their view ... we need to start calling the deceptions of the bush administration un-democratic and un-American ...

though 60% of Bush's supporters can't even tell you who flew the planes into the buildings with even a semblance of accuracy but plenty of certainty.

The media kept up the lying by repeating Rove talking points on Kerry...Rove said Kerry had no record in the Senate, the media agreed, even though Kerry had a 20 year record of investigating and exposing more government corruption than any lawmaker in modern history.

Kerry had no economic plan, no Social Security plan, no plan for diplomacy on Iraq, no environmental plan, no health plan other than socialism......all according to Rove and his compliant press.

Nevermind Kerry's lengthy speeches and papers devoted to the details of all these policy issues throughout the campaign.

Whatever the GOP controlled media says is true. Ask Rove.

Called your local media lately? Or written a letter to the editor? Complained online to the ombudsman or the editorial department? Faxed them questions they aren't asking, and demanding to know why not?

This is why I post my thoughts almost daily....hoping to bring awareness to others and to drink in their views and opinions....

some of the lurkers are not able to handle the truth without using delusion...like in deluding ones self that Bushs message is a good one.
