I wonder if George really knew he was being taped?......because

isn't he known to be rather vulgar and fowl mouthed in private?....Why is it that no where does he use bad language, that I heard anyway....Also the things he "admits" to on the tapes (drug use) are pretty well known by everyone anyway, even his supporters, and he knew that...This whole "revelation" could just be a phony set up. It does NOT show him in a bad light,and Wead knows that... IMO...

P.S....Don't forget Wead is a friend of the Bush family.
P.S.Again....Our Canadian TV stations are even playing this "secret tape"

3. Yeah
What's weird about the tapes is that they aren't Bush unplugged. This guy was a big name conservative Christian, and Bush was trying for their support. He was certainly more candid, but he still hadn't totally let his guard down.

4. I'm with you. From what little I have heard excerpted from the tape
it does not put Shrub in a bad light. If anything is seems to put him in the category of "human" a la the bit about not wanting anyone to say Dad, the president uses marijuana, why can't I? That is so lame. That alerted me right away that this was put out by the WH and who actually knows when it was made. There is so much to cover up these days this is just a side show.

9. CNN just read an email from a viewer saying.."This shows what a
human person he is. He's just as real when he doesn't know he's being taped!".....This was exactly the effect the Bushies were looking for....They are so devious, it's unbelievable!

I think the whole thing is a complete sham. It takes away the 'did he do any drugs' question from ever being asked again and he gets to have it on record that he has refused to answer the question all these years "FOR THE CHILDREN".
