WTF!? CNN/Headline "News" Is officially Dead! It's Now "Headline Prime"
I had CNN/Headline"news" on, to see if the had ANY pictures of the Protests (which DID turn Violent today) in Europe, but instead, CNN/HLN is "Headline Prime"/"ShowBiz Tonight" this hour (until who knows when) and are doing ALL entertainment "news" for at least the full 1/2 hour.

Looks like it will be this way until the Oscars.

2. I think that
truth in advertising laws prevent them from mentioning "news" with regard to CNN's product.

Sorry, mangled syntax.

3. I saw that last night and I was pissed
I know I should write to them. I like the idea of just news and Headline News had more of that and less fluff. Not anymore.

And Nancy Grace has a law show or something? Gimme a break!

8. I actually considered changing my screen name to
Nancy Grace's Nostrils! But I chickened out. That would have been funny! I am so distracted by her nostrils that I can barely listen to what she's saying.

6. Did it change back to "news" after primetime?
This is really a sad day. HLN was my Prime news source, before the AOL/Time-Warner debacle:cry:

They have standard Headline News except during 7-10pm ET

http://www.cnn.com/HLN/

"Headline News launches new primetime line-up
HEADLINE PRIME, 7-10 p.m. ET weekdays

On February 21, Headline News launches "Headline Prime" an all-new, prime-time lineup, featuring "Showbiz Tonight," a live entertainment news show; "Nancy Grace" a legal news and debate show and "Prime News Tonight," a nightly, national news program. 17. Yes. A far cry from the Headline News of the 80s.
Which was credible and worthy of watching. It was full-screen; none of the present "computer-screen" configuration and goofy banter.
Bring back "This is CNN Headline News-I'm Lynn Vaughn."

20. It's a new primetime lineup.
The old "news" format has been junked during primetime for these new shows.
