I Need A Refresher: Is Choicepoint Connected To DIEbold?
To me, this seems like an important story, that has not received nearly enough attention.

1. No, but Choicepoint did the "felon purge" for Jeb in Florida 2000

2. I agree. The RNC used Choicepoint to purge voters, too. Guess what?
Choicepoint has ALL of a person's data, including every vote they made.

That is exactly how people were targeted by the RNC in swing states like Ohio. If someone hadn't voted they were called and hounded to vote, even picked up and taken to the polls. To do this they needed the cooperation of those at the polls checking off who had voted.

They also knew how to target swing voters by studying their purchases from magazines to videos.

3. How did choicepoint log someone's vote?
The other way that they obtained someone's voting record was by telephoning swing voters and lying about their partisan interest. Then they acted like a pollster and gathered information.

5. Not sure. But the news report I heard last night said the records contain
information how the person votes.

That certainly made me sit up. Especially after Ken Mehlman said on one of those cspan panels that they won by aggressively examining people's consumer profiles in the areas they needed and targeted them.
