Kyoto snub - just struck me;
The Republicans have consistently argued that humans "do not cause global warming", that it's a myth, that the whole idea is blown out of proportion by the liberals.

YET . . .

The Republicans constantly defend staying out of the Kyoto Treaty because "the third-world nations who ARE CAUSING MORE GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS are getting away while the US is being penalized".

Food for thought . . .

After all, if CO2 doesn't matter (since, as some of Bush's people point out, it's "produced by natural processes" anyway) -- why so defensive?
