Interesting statistically: If Hillary won in 2008

and won re-election in 2012 that would mean that the United States would have had a president named Bush and Clinton since 1989--a total of 28 years!!

89-93 Poppy
93-01 Bill Clinton
01-09 Chimpy
09-17 Hillary Clinton

Just imagine if Jeb won in 2016!! Ugh!!

5. Exactly!

Too many people in the party forget that impeachment should be our number 1 priority. It will fix so many other problems. Instead, the party seems too focused on fixing the symptoms rather than the problem.

Just find your Representative and tell them what you think.
I do not bother with the telephone or email. When I write a letter to my congressman, I keep it simple, one or two sentences, and straight to the point.
"Congressman Boyd, I believe President Bush has engaged in an illegal war against the country of Iraq and should be impeached."

I get back replies that the congressman shares my concerns but the facts do now warrant such measures - blah blah blah ... I keep writing every month or so hoping for the best.

with Dole, Nixon, and Bush. Look at their tickets - 1964 is the only exception:

1952 - Eisenhower/Nixon
1956 - Eisenhower/Nixon
1960 - Nixon/Cabot Lodge
1964 - Goldwater/ ??? (anyone know?)
1968 - Nixon/Agnew
1972 - Nixon/Agnew
1976 - Ford/Dole
1980 - Reagan/Bush
1984 - Reagan/Bush
1988 - Bush/Quayle
1992 - Bush/Quayle
1996 - Dole/Kemp
2000 - Bush/Cheney
2004 - Bush/Cheney

Of course, this trend will be broken unless they nominate Elizabeth Dole or Jeb Bush, neither of which is very likely.
