EXETER, N. H. -- Senator John F. Kerry, his campaign invigorated by his surprise victory in the Iowa caucuses, has opened up a 10-point lead over Howard Dean among New Hampshire primary voters and redoubled his fund-raising efforts in order to compete aggressively in states that will vote Feb. 3.
With his campaign war chest severely depleted by the Iowa caucuses and spending for the New Hampshire primary, Kerry has been on a fund-raising tear to capitalize on the Iowa results, seeking more than $600,000 by tomorrow and asking 10 Democratic Party figures to raise another $100,000 each by the end of January.

In a speech at Daniel Webster College, Kerry railed against "special interests" that he said held sway over the Bush administration, and promised to allow individuals, pharmacists, and wholesalers to buy drugs at cheaper prices from Canada.
Kerry also drew more than 1,000 people to a town hall-style meeting in Exeter last night, where he was challenged over the Iraq war, the Patriot Act, drug rehabilitation, and immigration
