What the heck is wrong with Joe Lieberman???
I just read the latest Josh Marshall post on how Joe is looking to cut a deal with Lindsay Graham on Social Security - even while the public is turning more against privatization. Bush is on the verge of suffering a huge loss on this issue, and Joementum wants to get his nuts out of the fire? What's up with this guy? Do we have another Zell Miller on our hands?

3. I understand he represents labor interests fairly well
But other than that, maybe he is a pizz poor democrat...Remember he represents the insurance state...lots of self interest there to promote. Some sell out. others don't...Don't think Chris Dodd to be a sell out.

13. That question would take too long to answer
A better question to ask would be "What is right about Holy Joe"?

My answer, very very little, at least that matters.

He's just a slightly more presentable Zell.

15. Wait a minute
No fan of Joementum but as I recall Graham's proposal was to increase the cap to 200k and the WH said no to that. Don't remember what else Gramham had in the proposal that might be bad but maybe Joe is trying to box * in on this.

the line and that we will raise funds to defeat him in the next election if he sells us out. Cool and calm messages will get peoples attention. I also let him know that I have numerous family members in Connecticut who will not vote for him if he cuts a deal with Bush. 1-202-224-4041. I was able to get right through to the line.

25. I just read an interesting comment about Lieberman possibly making
a deal to throw this Bush's way in return for the SOD job in 2 years. He could parlay that job into an ongoing cash cow with defense contractors as a consultant or board member. Maybe he just wants to poke a sharp stick in the eye of the Democratic party because no one wanted him as President and he had little or no support from the public. I wonder if anyone have any personal background on this guy and his day to day relationships with business and family members?
I would love to get some kind of a read on his motives.
