Trotting out the "Credible but Non-Specific" Terrorist Threats (CNN)
CNN's Jean Meserve just announcing that there are credible but non-specific threats against US by terrorist organizations. No other info - no time, no city, no means of attack. The usual.

Looks like someone decided that the media needed a distraction.

9. For a brief moment I thought the picture was too big.
Then I came to my damn senses and realized that it would be quite impossible to post too large a picture of the Good Doctor.

4. I believe a really good critique of the Bush WH Social Security
propaganda was posted earlier today. I think that is what the terrorist warning is about. Does anyone have the link that exposes WH propaganda on SS?

5. Bush's Poll Numbers Went Down
The Market was down this AM, 125 civilians got killed by a car bomb in Iraq this AM, three more Americans dead in Iraq today, the attack on the AARP was a disaster, Gannon-Guckert is still in the news, Al Franken is back from vacation, I think Randi's recuperation is over, and the Congress people came back from their vacations after being beaten up over Social Security -- so Bush needs to divert the sheeple.

7. Yep
Polls down = terra lert.

Someone on DU superimposed two graphs, one of his poll numbers and one showing the terra lerts, and they jive completely. It gives him a smaller bounce each time.

With any luck, at some point, he'll start to get negative poll numbers from his fake terra lerts.

12. Distraction from what?
Media is completely ignoring Gannongate - praising the Eurotour - promoting SS "reform" - what's to distract from?

14. I feel so much better now that I don't watch CNN
History channel, discovery, HBO, etc are all better choices. It's a lot easier on my system to read the news off DU than hear it from some annoying, vacuous, dim witted, powdered, and wigged TV whore.
