wouldn't be surprised - everything they do is according to a script
by the way the submission link is working now
and you can see the "testimonials" - ALL favorable, surprised? I went through the whole alphabet link-list -- none of these "testimonials" are against bush's social insecurity scam
http://www.gop.com/GOPAgenda/SocialSecurityFeedback.aspx?ID=Recent&ty=1I think the problem with Social Security should be takedn care of now and not what and do it later.

No income or job exlusions. Any borrowing from the fund should be at the current interest rate.
-- Stephen Keller of Cincinnati, Ohio
It's bad enough that I'm paying for someone else's retirement, now there are folks who won't admit that this is broken? The system is broken, needs to be fixed, and the sooner the better. Don't hand this problem down to my generation!
-- James Yee of Barstow, California
Fix it now. We have knowen for years now that S.S. was not going to last. I still belive that the Representatives and Senators need to draw S.S. Then they will be more apt to fix it. I give President Bush credit for stepping up to the plate and saying here is my plan, Do it or come up with a better one. I do belive there needs to be strict guide lines on the Presidents plan, but it can work.
-- Bruce Osborn of Kinross, Michigan
I am very much in favor of private accounts! Thank goodness our President has the guts to address it. Now we need Congressmen with the guts to pass it.
-- Anne Malone of Kailua, Hawaii
We need to overhaul the system NOW - it won't get better on it's own! I think we have to address the whole issue. We have to start by including all pay - from the first dollar to the last - into the revenue stream. Then we have to tie the retirement age to the average lifetime (or at least to within 5 years of it), then tie benefits to some kind of means testing. Then offer voluntary personal accounts. One more thing - place all ELECTED federal officials on Social Security immediately!!! That way the system will get fixed - and pretty dang quickly!!!!!
-- Lori Hamm of Helena, Montana
Now is the time to tackle the Social Security issue. It definitely needs fixing. We can't afford not to do anything.
-- German Santiago of Ossining, New York
Bush is right, we need private accounts for the younger workers
-- Don Singleton of Tulsa, Oklahoma
I am 49 years old and I have known there was a problem with social security for about 15 years. I have always believed the best way to fix it is to privatise it. The return on the investment would be much greater and it would be our money working for us. I do not want to leave this for our children and grandchildren to fix,if you ask me, it should have been fixed a long time ago. I am just thrilled we have a President with the courage to address it now.
