Dr Dean in another Red State Tonight
Here's hoping the Chairman of the DNC pisses off the mouth breathers in Jackson Mississippi tonight. Tomorrow some fascist neanderthal chairman of this or that will speak from his klavern about Dr Dean's hate of republicans as they did in Kansas yesterday. Oh to be on message. Oh, is Dr Dean on message. Go Governor Dean.

THEY CAN'T TALK ABOUT BUSH AND HIS FAILURES SO THEY HAVE TO LASH OUT.

The good Doctor has convinced this General Clark supporter that he is the right medicine for the party.

1. You know one thing that's great about having Dean as Chair?
For the first time in years, Republicans are having to respond to US. I was getting pretty tired of watching Democrat after Democrat cry foul when some Republican bashed us. Finally.... finally, it is time to play offense. Let them whine about what Dean said about them. The tables are starting to turn.

2. I heard he was going to be there. He'll do just fine.
The people who get pissed off at him know that he's just tells the truth and they don't like it!

3. He'll definitely piss some folks off
But I'm hoping he speaks some sense to a lot more folks, who take a moment to reconsider their fealty to the Republicans, who've been playing them for suckers for the past 20 years.

The Democrats may not give you everything you want on a silver platter, but they're a damn sight better than the Red Ink Republicans now saddling you with a debt that will extend to you and your heirs to the seventh generation.

4. I'm proud to say that there is a feisty bunch of
democrats in the MS State House of Representatives. They are giving haley bar-bore (GOV) fits on a daily basis relative to fiscal issues. When the sheep open their eyes and discover they have voted against their best interests, that will be the right antidote for the dems. "They", republicans are in charge. I blame "them" for every negative headline and I share my thoughts with fellow Americans. Join me.

7. Another Marlette cartoon - link:
http://www.ucomics.com/dougmarlette/2005/02/08/

We have needed someone (for a long time) who won't stand for dems being soft.

10. That's not how I understood the cartoon.
I got the message that the cartoonist is saying the Dem party has no future with Dean as chairman....

If the cartoon can be construed as meaning such totally opposite things, I don't think the cartoonist achieved his goal...

11. It appeared to me that the 'seer' could not see
what we so plainly do see, that Howard Dean as DNC chair is linked to the future of the party.

But I agree with you that it was a difficult point to make (if it was the point!) and your interpretation shows he wasn't successful in making it.
