Grassley Says Drug Importation Bill Will Be Passed This Summer!!!
Don't ask me for a link.........In flipping the channels I saw this on the news blurb bottom ticker of Bloomberg News (financial news network) just minutes ago. Grassley (sp?) is a powerful republican in Congress and isn't a nobody spouting in the wind. My Dem representative from Maine, Tom Allen, was the very first person several years ago to push for this drug importation as he stated that everything else in this country is open to foreign competition except these drug thieves. I, honest to god, am wondering what the hell is going on in D.C. which is OWNED by the drug companies. We gave them that bogus, criminal drug Medicare scam (they inflate prices and we pay BUT can't negotiate terms). And this would be their death........except they probably will jack up their drug prices to Canada and the like by a zillion percent. That's the only way they can keep their criminal, obscene prices in place. Interesting.......stay tuned

2. blonde--don't want to be a paranoid shit BUT
why you think that these animals owned by the drug companies are doing this. All I can think of is a Bloomberg report today that the CEO's say that Healthcare is their #1 concern (not anything else in their companies). Could it be that war between the corporations that someone alluded to in DU today. Corporate America says "let's get this fucking healthcare shit out of our hair and dump it on the government or get competition so we can compete". Interesting.
