there wouldn't be a worldwide religion based on his life today. If he had been allowed to live, the story would have had a completely different ending and Christianity, as we know it today, wouldn't exist.

So start the killings at once. You never know who the NEXT Jesus will be.

I think that's written off to the idea that he came here, in part, to do that.

That was recently "explained" to me, as well as why the Death Penalty is OK with (some) Christians.

At least they didn't stone the guy, or burn Him.

yes, of course, religions offer an answer (sometimes multiple, contradicting, answers) for everything, but still....

Isn't it odd that in this nation, where the majority are Christian adherents and who claim to pray to and adore a being who was a prisoner of the Roman Power and an inmate on that empire's death row ... worshippers of the crucified God that strenuously support the State's execution of its imprisoned citizens....

this is INSANE and they are NOT of God...NOT NOT NOT!
