Bush and bin Laden
I have long thought that President Bush has sheltered bin Laden by not trying to capture him. Today there was an author on Good Morning America who suggested that the Department of Defense rejected troop deployments including the 101st Airborne Division, the largest division ready for the combat in Afghanistan.

My question is this: How do we successfully bring across the point that President Bush is not trying to capture Osama bin Laden, without risking
a planned terrorist attack to put the pressure off of the President?

1. Facts will help

And they will be pretty scarce as long as people in the know are not willing to stand up for what is best for America.

On edit:

Bush is very willing to sacrifice the lives of Americans as long as he and his cronies stay in power and benefit from the "terra" OBL "causes." He reminds me a lot of what he accused Hussein of being.

So no, we won't find OBL until someone is in power who has the interests of America as his/her first priority. OBL is the boogeyman Bush trots out when he needs a diversion from his administration.

2. Well that would be a trick, now wouldn't it?
Personally, I say call his bluff, but few are probably prepared to do that.

3. you can't. Bush needs Bin Laden running on the loose so...
he can use propoganda like terror, Iraq, invade Iran, and 9/11 for the rest of his 2nd term. Otherwise, he is a worthless president in office who people would laugh out of office.

would be exactly why porter goss is so unhappy in his new job, there is something there, if * had to go and give a "pep"talk to the CIA yesterday.....

On edit: Couldn't the Dems hire private soldiers (mercenaries) or investigaters to go over there and find him and arrest him themselves and show up * - then watch his reaction? Would it be like when the reporter asked him about his buddy Ken Lay?
