It feels like August 6th again
However, this time the threat is not from terrorism. The new threat is the looming energy crisis and the devastating effects of climate change. Yet, once again, Bush is taking a vacation. This time he will be spending the next two months, working on his manufactured social security crisis. In the meanwhile, he continues to ignore the real threats to our security and well being. I guess Bush and Co are just going to sit by and wait for the real crisis to hit again, so that they can implement Phase 2 of their grand plan for global dominance. All I can say is, it sucks being a pawn.

1. The more I read on Peak Oil the more I see it as the rationale for
much of what is taking place.

IF there is indeed no oil left in 30-40 years ...we as a country and a world are in a crisis of unbelievable proportion.

The jockey for resources has started already...the price escaltion in the past few years has been over 120% in 3 yrs.

It greatly concerns me that it appears that this was known and Govt has done squat for an energy plan for renewable resources

Our dollar is toast becuase our deficits are uncontrollable.

It's just a mess............

2. The sad and frustrating part
is that there is so much we could be doing to prepare.

Even if we just cut back on half the crap we waste, it would make a big difference. But no, our leadership would rather let us all kill each other instead. Then they can keep all of those resources for themselves.
