Bush to visit Columbus, Ohio next week, get ready protesters
Will be in town March 9. Here is a bit from the press release:

POSTED: 3:09 pm EST March 4, 2005

WASHINGTON -- President George W. Bush will return to Ohio next week for the second time since he was elected to his second term, his spokesman announced Friday.

White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan said Bush plans to tour the Battelle Memorial Institute in Columbus, Ohio, on Wednesday and make remarks on energy policy.

Battelle is an independent organization that conducts research for the military and other government agencies. The company has tested bullet-resistant vests and chemical protective suits being worn by troops in the Middle East, for example.

<snip>

Battelle spokesman Mark Berry referred all questions to Bush's staff. A phone call to the White House seeking additional information on the president's trip wasn't immediately returned.

The trip marks Bush's 36th since taking office in January 2001.

2. This information was just posted on the WCMH4 website
We have the weekend to get more details and organize...I posted also in the Ohio forum and GD. I think there are a couple of groups in Ohio that are far more organized than I...anyone know who it would be?

3. The bigger the crowd, the more likely it'll get press coverage.

Especially if these big crowds of protestors start becoming the norm. If everywhere he goes, the jackass is swarmed and avalanched by protestors, it won't escape notice for very long. Especially if people who see that it IS escaping notice start getting huffy and complaining to their local papers, radio stations and TV stations. After all - it's YOUR money they're after for their circulation figures, and their ratings, and what they can charge their advertisers for commercial time. Believe it or not, they DO need to pay attention to you - lest you leave and take your money with you.

6. I would love to come.
I will keep watching for more details. I work on Wednesday, but will take part of the day off, or all of it if necessary.

Any ideas for signs?

Bush forgets that he works for us, we do not work for him.
