WASHINGTON – RNC Chairman Ken Mehlman and Director of Strategy Adrian Gray announced today that they have asked Brent Seaborn to join the RNC as Deputy Director of Strategy.

“We are very happy to have Brent as a part of our strategy team,” Chairman Mehlman said. “His experience bringing new innovative techniques to reach voters will help the RNC refine its efforts and increase its effectiveness.”

“I look forward to working with Brent. His knowledge of identifying and targeting potential Republican support and extensive work with polling will help bring our strategic development to the next level,” said Gray.

Seaborn was previously a partner at TargetPoint Consulting, where he worked to research and develop MicroTargeting. MicroTargeting was provided in the 2004 election for Bush/Cheney ’04, the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) and the RNC. Brent has also worked with the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) in 2002 on an extensive Social Security reform project. Seaborn is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and earned a Masters degree in Political Management at George Washington University.
