Why We Should Support the Upcoming Clint Curtis BlogCall (and future ones)

What is a BlogCall?
BlogCall is a regular conference call hosted by progressive and Democratic "bloggers" to discuss exposes of Republican and rightwing crimes and scandals that deserve national media attention. Each BlogCall features a progressive or Democratic "blogger" who has broken a major expose.

Who participates in the calls?

Why is the upcoming (Tuesday, March 8th at 1pm) Clint Curtis BlogCall so important?

It is among the most important evidence of election fraud (and compelling reasons for election reform) we have available. It provides easily understandable: intent, capability, and credibility, that massive election fraud occurred.

- Intent: US Rep. Tom Feeney is alleged to have hired computer programmer Clint Curtis to write a program to flip the vote (see synopsis and links below).
- Capability: Even a Republican computer expert has acknowledged it is possible:
"What he's <Curtis> written sounds entirely plausible."
"It would be VERY simple to design a program just like what this guy is saying..."
"...what he's saying sounds technically plausible to me."
"...it's technically quite possible."

- Credibility: Clint Curtis gave his sworn testimony before the US House Judiciary Committee, and also made a sworn affidavit.

Personally, I have had the opportunity to speak with many people on the issue of election fraud (and the consequent need for election reform); and I have found the Curtis information among the most compelling. This even includes open-minded moderate Republicans. After hearing this information, most of them clearly see it as a legitimate "smoking gun" that threatened all but the neo-conservative elite minority with vote disenfranchisement.

Most "experts" on election fraud/reform are saying we need broad bipartisan support to accomplish our goals. Spreading the Clint Curtis story gives us an excellent opportunity to do so.

Why are BlogCalls in general so important?
I believe these BlogCalls have the potential to significantly help to coalesce/organize the progressive Internet community. Also, I can see this idea being expanded to live interviews with people like Boxer, Conyers or even sympathetic journalists lie Keith Olbermann! But we have to support it now for it to be a success!
