3. Those Flag Burning Traitors must not have signed the oath or drank the
Kool-Aide. The should get a long vacation to Syria on a government owned jet.
I wonder if it was the person that had 4 tixs yesterday??

13. 4 tix, 4 interruptions
Sounds like the tix were put to excellent use.... either that or some DU'er found some kindred souls there.

Did someone throw a shoe and call him a lying bitch? Or set off a barf-o-rama like Bush's dad in Japan? Or ask if private investment wasn't what triggered the great depression, necessitating social security in the first place?

6. I saw this on CNN...but I couldn't hear...
..what the protester was saying. My kids were playing "tickle torture" and I missed it.

CNN showed a woman pointing at * and yelling. She seemed to be getting in a few choice words. She was escorted away by some serious-looking gentlemen.

Also, CNN called *'s SocSec talks "highly scripted" and made the point that he was mainly giving his talks in red states.

The commentary made *'s tour look manufactured and silly. Every once in a while, CNN speaks the truth.

It's only a few crumbs of honesty, but I'll take em.

10. Actually it was Darin...
...who made the "scripted" remark--in reference to *'s speeches.

I'm pretty sure about that, because the commentary was made right before Judy W's show began.

7. Just skimmed through the transcript.
It struck me how they faithfully record all the incidents of (Laughter) and (Applause). I didn't see anything about (Heckler) or (Boos) or (Gestures with Middle Fingers), though.

12. It happened in Louisville...
http://www.wave3.com/Global/story.asp?S=3059408&nav=0RZEXL1q

The president was interrupted four times by people yelling protests of his Social Security plans. Outside the arena, protesters shouted "No more lies, don't privatize!" and some held signs that read "Hands off my Social Security." Demonstrators inside the arena were drowned out by either Bush talking over them or the crowd's cheers, or both.

15. Damn...this reads like a Regis and Kelly show or a freakin' infomercial!!!
MR. ALLEN: I'm Gerald Allen. I'm here with my granddaughter, Lindsey. I'm 71 years old, and I've been drawing Social Security since I was 62. And I feel --

THE PRESIDENT: Pretty good. You haven't missed a check yet, have you?

MR. ALLEN: No, I haven't missed a check yet. (Laughter.) And I still feel confident that I'm going to get them continually. (Applause.)

THE PRESIDENT: Yes. That's an important statement. He just said he's still confident he's going to get his check. People who are counting on Social Security need to understand you're going to get your check. And you need to understand I know that a lot of people count on their Social Security check a lot. There are a lot of folks in Kentucky, a lot of folks in Texas, a lot of folks around the country where that check means everything to them. And I know that.

Keep going. (Laughter.)
