Was pretty sure Patty Murray would vote no, pleasantly surprised by Maria Cantwell's no vote. I sent them both Thank you e-mails and phone calls.

This bill is reprehensible, disgusted with the Democrats who voted yea.

I'm surprised by this - I think he backed the last bill

Some of the senators who voted the bill last time did so because of the Schumer Amendment (concerning abortion clinics attackers). This time, this amendment did not pass and they did not vote for the bill.

I worked hard for Schumer the first time he ran - answered phones in his campaign HQ, many hours - glad that he is NO here

that's why Hillary isn't there.

I withdraw my insinuation about Hillary - she is excused, with my apology for my insensitivity.

No surprise with Murray.

Right now the only person in Washington that will listen to us is Howard Dean. Let's tell him in one voice of our displeasure and have him carry it to those ninnies on the Hill. They fear him already, lets arm him with something fearful!
