Tune in to CNBC now (9:23 PM) to hear a Repub BASH the bankruptcy bill
He is a bankruptcy expert who says he usually votes Repub but says that this bill was passed only to enrich the financial companies, who paid $$$$ for it to be passed.

3. I just emailed Byrd and ...
asked him why he supported this bankruptcy bill. I also stated that I am certain he will never have to worry about medical bills he cannot pay being he is "covered 100%" so to speak.

The whole thing sickens me.

It is good to see others be them Republicans or whatever stand up and speak out about how disgusting this bankruptcy bill is.

May it fail miserably in the House - that is my wish!

WAKE UP AMERICA! WAKE UP!!!!

5. This expert (I didn't catch his name) also gave statistics...
Sorry the segment was so short.

His name was Dan somebody? he was on the Wall Street segment of the show said that fewer than 2% of all bankruptcies involved either fraud or substantial assets. So in his view there was NO support for the claim that there was widespread abuse of existing law. He said "Ted Kennedy and I are the only people standing up for the consumer on this one and it's scary since he and I are almost never on the same side of an issue."

also

"These big companies with bad business models should not be coming to the government to bail them out...they should stop issuing credit cards to dogs and dead people..."
