Who's ready for a "deep cover" assignment?

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Ohio Republican Party currently has two openings within its political department for the position of Regional Field Director. The party’s regional field team works directly with county Republican chairs to develop local and statewide political strategies, recruit and support candidates, build and mobilize volunteer networks, meet fundraising goals and implement grassroots organizational plans.

We are seeking politically active, enthusiastic Republican applicants looking for an opportunity to gain valuable tactical experience from one of the most successful state party organizations in the country. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are required. Campaign experience is preferred. Each Regional Field Director is responsible for a region comprised of approximately 20 counties in the state. The ability to travel is a must. The position will require a two-year commitment and a willingness to work extended hours, evenings, weekends and some holidays.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 Work with the Political Director and Deputy Political Director to enact the Ohio Republican Party’s Statewide Political Plan
 Keep the State Chairman apprized of political relationships and strategic considerations in the region
 Communicate with members of the Republican State Central Committee
 Foster relationships with Republican County Chairmen
 Coordinate implementation of Political and Finance Plans with Steering Committee Members
 Advise candidates on campaign strategy and tactics
 Identify key target races within the region
 Help recruit and mobilize volunteers
 Assist in fundraising activities


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

 Bachelor’s Degree
 Republican Political Campaign/Volunteer Experience
 Registered Republican and committed to Republican values and mission
 Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
 Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency
 Active Driver’s License and Vehicle


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

 Microsoft Power Point proficiency
 Experience managing volunteers


SALARY

 $28,000-$30,000 based on qualifications
 Health Insurance
 Reimbursement for travel

See? It says "committed to Republican values and mission"!
That means you can't play it too far over the top even if you try!

16. It's probably more the splashing against the bottom side of my brain

14. An excellent reference would be a "banning" from DU!
Of course we'd allow our "Trojan horse" back under an alias.

(Note: Now if the repukes catch wind of this thread they will eliminate all applicants who've been banned from DU suspecting a spy...poor banned freeper trolls...no cushy Party job for you!)
