Bush's stupid statement today.or is it just me?
I like the idea of people running for office. There's a positive effect when you run for office. Maybe some will run for office and say, vote for me,

*******I look forward to blowing up America. I don't know, I don't know if that will be their platform or not. But it's -- I don't think so.***********

I think people who generally run for office say, vote for me, I'm looking forward to fixing your potholes, or making sure you got bread on the table. And so -- but Hezbollah is on the terrorist list for a reason, and remain on the terrorist list for a reason. Our position has not changed on Hezbollah.

1. well, if anyone understands running on a platform of blowing up other
countries, it would be Bush now wouldn't it?

To answer your question, no it's not just you. It was an incredibly stupid thing to say.

2. Yea, I heard that. It was another fauxpax to add to Shrub's collection!
I actually think I know what he meant (scary as that is), but his phrasing was all wrong...as usual!

I think he was responding to people who feel voters in Arab countries just might vote for a candidate who hates America for it's interference in their business, but Shrub's clumsiness with the english language surfaces again!

4. What's the question?
It seems Bush just said, "I look forward to blowing up America."

Isn't that from the Neo-Con platform?

10. Hezbollah is probably looking forward to blowing up America.
That can be a winning message in Lebanon.

11. Have you heard the ad on AAR for the comedian
doing Bush as "Rainman"? The guy's name escapes me at the moment, but he's hilarious.

The sad thing is "Rainman" is much more articulate and makes more sense than Bush.
