Lieberman: "I'm not a neocon but some of my best friends are"
When I asked if he was becoming a neoconservative, Lieberman smiled and said, “No, but some of my best friends are neocons.”

28. Are you all aware of Ted Kennedy's
close friendship with Orrin Hatch? I believe he was best man at his wedding. Should we dump Teddy also?

30. Ted and Orrin Hatch may be friends
but they don't share a lot in terms of public policy views. Joe and his neo-con buddies do, in fact, share the same policy views.

9. Didn't Lieberman also say...
..."Well, no. I'm not a neoconservative, but if you watched the footage after the president's state-of-the-union speech, you'll know that I made out with a neoconservative."

I coulda swore I hear Joe say that...

10. Joe represents a portion of our party who are hawks on Israel and
will deal with Neocons to make sure that goes well. You would too if it was your family's security. Joe is also not someone who wants to see the hatred Bush Tribal USA has started up within the country.

If we can stick together and not fall into the trap of cutting off parts of ourselves because we are in so much pain and anger... we can rip the masks of the Bush WH.

Picture this... A democratic majority in both the House and Senate in 2 years. A universal hatred of Bush belligerence policies and rejection the culture of admiration for liars, cheaters and the cold-hearted. Two years where Bush is still President and has to get up every day and take ownership. Two years where Democrats undo the horrid practices of the Repukes in the House and in the laws. Two years of the people taking back what is their rightful legacy after 200 years of democracy. Meanwhile the Saddam Hussein trial plays in the background where it is itemized the brown-shirt tactics of the baathists in Iraq and all Americans recognize a good portion of that behavior in Bush & his cronies. It starts slowly as Bush is forced to fire his team of puppets and creeps, one by one. Then all of a sudden the call comes from the heartland... "he allowed sociopaths to run amok in the WH - he tried to turn us tribal while he allowed democracy everywhere else - IMPEACH HIM - he tried to make a colony of us".

12. The time has long since passed since Israel needed our help.
As it is, the Israeli government is as infested with criminals as our own is.

Hawks on Israel? Coals to Newcastle?

F8ck Joe and the good old boy network he rode in on. He makes DINOs look like Trotsky.

14. I think we all can agree that a great & lasting peace in Israel &
Palestine.. an agreement that sees the end & acceptance.. would be the most important thing that has happened in years. Who knows if it will be... but it is the mommies in Palestine & Israel who finally have a chance here.. a chance to make it so they are not living in a time of war.

I wish more people would listen to the mommies. War is bad for women.. they get nothing out of it. So even if Joe is only representing the mommies half the time... it is worth a try.

Go Joe Go.

15. applegrove, I hate to point out unpleasant facts
but "Joe" has been supporting policies that make mommies loose their children to violence. And it doesn't seem to trouble him one bit.

The Arab League has come a long way. Time for the Israeli government to take a baby step. May the peace movement there prosper.

18. I concur it has been a dam mess. What I am saying is that if there
is a chance for lasting peace finally ... (did you know Israel funded and helped create Hamas)... and Joe wants to kiss Bush all over... it is okay by me. I'll even send him some lip gloss. I would expect no less from an Israeli Hawk. And then when it comes time to kick corporate & Bush ass.. I expect Lieberman to be back in our tent.

Cause if you are human.. you are under my tent. I just refuse to take the assholes, sociopaths, scapegoaters, psychopaths and shallow rich in.

ITS NOT A TIN FOIL HAT... IT IS A BIG TENT HAT!!!!

16. Didn't you hear? Peace is breaking out everywhere and al-Qaeda
cannot attack. Americans will no longer be controlled with their fear. That leaves room for all sorts of other emotions including: disgust at what Bush let his creeps do to the country.

I am banking on the encouragement of the neocolonial policy of tribalism within the USA to win the elections alone - while the rest of the world was getting democracy - will piss off the average American.

Remember... when Bush 'congers up' the image of a free Iraq we will all be seeing a guy with a beard and a pale blue turban... so Bush may not be going there so often.

Let us see.. Rice today told Pakistan they were a model of democracy to the world (they are not a democracy) and she told India that "we will have to rethink how you meet your energy needs" after they have been building a pipeline to Iran for 5 years and have never had to run anything by the USA before.

Come on... admit it... this is getting fun.

17. Jeffrey Goldberg is a conduit for neocon propaganda at The New Yorker
He was making the case for the "poor Kurds" in the runup to Iraq. Sorry to see he's still employed. He was the reason I decided not to renew my subscription.
