6. Pretty much.
The Shi'ite alliance got 48-51% depending on who you listen you.
The Kurdish parties got 26%
The guy we wanted got like 14% of the vote.

9. It doesn't make any difference, because this isn't really the
government that was elected -- it was the selecting of the people who will write the constitution. As if somebody at Heritage Foundation hadn't already done that.

The real elections won't be until fall. Bushco's candidate will make an astonishing comeback.
