3. I'm a huge baseball fan but I have to tell ya...
Baseball players are fucking stupid!

I always pretty much knew it deep down in my heart of hearts but these guys are are as dumb as dirt. Great ball-players for the most part and I respect what they've done on the field, even though you can't convince me that McGwire and Sosa haven't used steroids, but really not the sharpest knives in the drawer if you know what I mean.

McGwire may not have an asterisk next to his name in the record books but I'll always see one there, same goes for Bonds. Hank Aaron is still the greatest homerun hitter of my lifetime. Hammerin' Hank did it while having to deal with jim crow laws and the ignorance of those times as well. Aaron was a player kids could really look up to.

4. Bush mentioned this during SOTU and MSM runs with it...War, what war ?
Edited on Thu Mar-17-05 08:27 PM by EVDebs
It takes the front pages away from any mention of the ongoing neverending war in the Middle East. And the budgeting process proceeds for funding this mess too, without scrutiny.

Catchawave must have his priorities skewed. MSM will try to educate him that war is less a priority than some musclebound clown who only has to hit the ball 25% of the time to be 'average'.

BTW, ever see "CNN and PsyOps" by Alexander Cockburn ?
www.counterpunch.org/cnnpsyops.html

I wonder how many are there now during this wartime sweeps period ?

Go Dems Go.

5. I agree;
I quit watching baseball when Bonds left Pittsburgh crying his eyes out that they couldn't afford $5 mill/yr.... Roberto Celmenti rolled over in his grave...the country is going down the tubes and our government is investigating baseball!!!... LOL
