Impeachment members mobilize for March 19/20
Here's the latest from Impeach Bush. Sorry if it's a dupe. I don't know about you guys, but I think we have some historic events coming up. This is going to be a big weekend. Let's get ready to raise some hell.

<SNIP>

Dear ImpeachBush/VoteToImpeach.org member,

All across the country on Saturday, March 19, people will be taking to the streets in coast-to-coast mobilizations opposing George W. Bush's criminal policies. On the second anniversary of his having plunged the United States into an unprovoked war against Iraq, people will be demonstrating in nearly 600 cities and towns throughout this country. Internationally, people are marching in every country.

ImpeachBush.org/VoteToImpeach members are mobilizing to make sure that the message of impeachment resonates everywhere. The beautiful yellow and black impeachment signs and banners will be carried as thousands demonstrate with military families, veterans and soldiers at Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, North Carolina. In San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and elsewhere, VoteToImpeach/Impeach Bush members will be marching under Impeach Bush signs and banners, wearing impeachment T-shirts and baseball caps, and distributing impeachment petitions.

Impeachment is the message of accountability and deterrence. Accountability for all those Iraqis and U.S. soldiers who have been killed and maimed in a war that violates the Nuremberg Charter, the UN Charter, fundamental human rights and international law. Accountability for the billions being spent on war, death, torture, and destruction to line the pockets of the Bush administration's corporate backers. Accountability for the attack on the Constitution and civil rights and civil liberties at home.

This nationwide effort is possible because of the work of hundreds of volunteers and the financial support from those who believe that impeachment is an imperative to defend and save the Constitution. See you on Saturday, March 19 - and remember that the next two weeks are Home District weeks for Congressional representatives. There has been a tremendous response to Ramsey Clark's appeal to take action in the next two weeks. Mr. Clark appealed to all ImpeachBush.org/VoteToImpeach members to take action between March 19 and April 3, when Congressional representatives are scheduled to be back in their home district. Ramsey wrote: "It has never been more important for all people of conscience to hold demonstrations and rallies, and to lobby those representatives in their home districts during the March 19 - April 3 period." Please notify the ImpeachBush.org/VoteToImpeach campaign about your local activity, and send in a report and photos, to Reports@ImpeachBush.org.

As much as I would love to see his royal pain in the a$$ impeached, what would we get if he was? Cheney? Is that what we really want?

You have to look pretty far down the line of succession before you find anyone reasonable.

At this point if impeachment succeeded, it could throw this country into a state of chaos, rivaled only by Iraq. I am too old to deal with the anarchy. Let's get a Democratic Congress first. Then we have to impeach Crashcart before Dubya.

Demonstrations are good. They make other countries realize we are not all idiots. Some of us oppose the Bush agenda.

2. How else could impeachment happen?
There are only three reasons for electing a Democratic Congress..to impeach as many creeps as possible, ending this neocon monopoly over our government, and having a friendly majority in place for the next Democratic President.

Impeaching Bush would only help us defeat Cheney or any other likely Republican nominee in 2008.

4. You are right, there is no way this den of neo-con ditto-heads will
impeach their hero.

I fear Cheney. I don't know what he is capable of. If 9/11 was MIHOP, he could have been the mastermind (along with Rove.) It sure seemed as if he was in charge until 9/11. That man is really, really evil. I don't know what he might do with absolute power. He is just too sneaky. I picture him as a great big white rat.

The one consolation to the scenario is that the congress would no longer have a neo-con control nor a Republican majority, so checks and balances would be back.

6. the crimes which impeach Bush are only leads for Cheney's guilt!
Who in this administration can be impeached, and who would be left in line to replace the President and Vice President?

5. That's funny. There's no identity of who is behind it. They
have reprinted Ramsey Clark's speech, but it isnot his organization.

For all you know you could be sending money to a rethuglican campaign fund. No names, nuttin. Strange.
