The U.S. Senate has narrowly approved oil drilling in the Alaskan tundra. Should the United States move forward with this idea?

"weans us from the foreign pipeline" ..don't know what they're saying!

The damn oil doesn't even go to us and it would only supply Japan for 6 months..at least that's what I've read over and over again.
