CSPAN pulls book interview with holocaust book author?

Can anyone provide a link to that DU post and/or the name of the author?

I read here yestereday but cannot find via search that CSPAN had pulled an interview program with a holocaust researcher/author because the producers thought it not balanced with the contering view.

Then why the hell this moring are they doing a one hour interview with Thomas Hazlett, Manhattan Institute for Policy Research, a conservative think thank, with no balancing guest?

That maybe it didn't happen? Or that the mass murder of 11 million people wasn't such a bad thing?

What possible counterview is there?

5. I read that there is some nutcase whose career is to deny it

I believe he is London-based. He has several books and sues people who attacke his positions.

Somehow he or his supporters have blocked the CSPAN segment.

Please help me find the DU post.

3. saw on Wash. Journal this morning

That the original, rational author scheduled to be featured told C-Span no thanks when she learned that C-Span would "balance" her point of view with a Holocaust denier.
Brian Lamb read an article about it.

What the hell was CSPAN thinking? What kind of balance is having a wacko demean and marginalize the experience and trauma for millions of families who, to this day, are still affected by the impact of that nightmare? Our country has gone nuts.

4. Washington Journal has Been VERY HEAVY ON REPUG Guests

lately. Wonder if Media Matters is keeping track? I did hear someone this morning say bu$h was a cocaine and crack user, and Brian cut it, but too late (heh heh)

We formed a DU "CSPAN WATCH" group last week - http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topics&forum=320

If tracking CSPAN guests holds your interest, please post such a message there and look for others who can help the cause.

I myself am focused on putting out the daily schedule with editorial comment about the guests.
