Swedish newspaper calls it MURDER!
I'm in a hurry, so will only translate about half of the article from the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet.

26 PRISONERS MURDERED BY THE USA

Abu Ghraib was only the beginning
The abuse at the Abu Ghraib prison is only the top of the iceberg.
At least 26 prisoners may have been murdered by the American military while in detention in Iraq and Afghanistan.

snip

Only one case in Abu Ghraib
The US government and military have tried to mediate the picture of the abuse of prisoners as isolated cases in Abu Ghraib. Committed by a small number of soldiers of low rank on one night shift only.
The new report totally upsets that picture. Only one case happened at Abu Ghraib. The others are spread out all over Iraq and Afghanistan.

1. Thanks for translating what you did.
Alas, this report will be condemned as lacking understanding of what war entails. That murder in a time of war isn't acually murder but justifiable homicide, no matter what the circumstances. This soothes everybody's conscience and allows the killing to go on with no repercussions for the killers. Gawd bless America.

2. Not surprising
I think we here at the DU have known all along that there are serious problems with our detention centers, and that it is all pouring down from the top.

3. Why are they so pro-Bush?
Only 26? How many people here believe the number is really that low?
