What should be the job of Congress ??

If not to give us moral guidance? If not to pass laws to force us to live our lives in their image? If not to make sure we all get to Heaven?

Surely their job is not to promote the general welfare or to provide opportunities for Americans to have jobs and to make sure we are only taxed for what we need as a nation? Surely they are not there to protect our Constitution or to guard the liberties of each and every American? What is their job?

1. 1. To garner as much money as they can when running

for office

2. To garner as much money as they can while in office

3. To set up contacts so they can get an extremely lucrative job if they get booted out of office.

These are all the rules they live by. If it takes religion, lies, grandstanding on issues of no importance, hiding things that are of importance, so be it, as long as the 3 goals are accomplished.

2. the job of congress SHOULD JUST BE

making sure our roads and schools work, punish abuseive judges and keep a watchfull eye over the white house so the will of the people is preserver over the will of the corporations
