Let's count protesters & tell our stories - 350+ in Lambertville, NJ -

I didn't expect many people to show up at the anti-war protest in Lambertville today based on the trends (talking points?) reported in the papers of low turnouts yesterday. But, to my delight, over 350 people turned out in the drizzle in Lambertville, NJ. A different venue than our usual site in Princeton peacecoalitiong.org . We were greeted by symphonies of horn beeps, thumbs ups, peace signs and respectful police - I got the sense that something really big and exciting was growing.

Local papers did a good job of covering yesterday's protest - but, I think it would be interesting to get the most accurate head count from all of these venues and pool our talents to tell the stories of our numbers.

1. That's pretty amazing.
For Hunterdon. An awful lot of repukes down that way.

Did any of the participants identify themselves as repukes? That would have been quite interesting if they had.

Oh well, Connie is going away. Now, to get rid of Mikey The Mouthbreather.

2. None identified as repukes but the support from the 'street'
seemed to be everywhere. Too bad it wasn't sunny though. Normally lots of tourists that cross the bridge that we crossed, from NJ to PA. I think that is another strategy that's working since we are close to PA. Today was an alliance of about 20 organizations across our states. Very smart, I think!
