Calling for an economic "timeout" for our side
I just wrote about this here:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=132&topic_id=1675516#1675565

The NY Times calls for a "timeout" and some think they meant an economic timeout. This can work: it can force the government and the corporations to start listening to us. We are not "sheeple." We need an economic timeout for at least one month, and we need to get this out to everyday Americans.

How do we do this?? Well, posting here is a good start, but we need a larger audience. MoveOn, Michael Moore, we need some organizations with a big audience to help with this.

Please, believe that this can make changes. Boycotts in the south changed the rules down there, and we have a lot more people, with a lot more money, and a lot more power.

If anyone with ties to a larger organization with a bigger forum reads this, please help! Make suggestions - no one is listening to us and we are 1/2 of the nation. Our voices must be heard.
