Let me get this straight.....Did I hear right, that the Pope made

a statement saying "Terri should live"?? So, how come it's OK to use an "artificial" feeding tube, but people can't use condoms to help prevent AIDS in Africa??

What's up with that??

to me. Maybe there should be a PART A and PART B to this "life" issue...

Why is saving a life by preventing AIDS not as important as keeping "life" going by artificial means? Who says?

Furthermore, you would think that true believers would want Terri to go to her God rather than hang around on a feeding tube.

All I'm saying is that religion certainly doesn't have all the answers--plenty of gray areas if you stop to think about it.

Why do right wingers in the US only listen to the pope on abortion, birth control and Terry Schiavo, but ignore him when he speaks out against the war in Iraq ("if you go to war in Iraq, you go without God.") and against capital punishment?

They say "Sex is for procreation" but knowing people like/need sexual release, they force them not to use protection so that more Catholics are born, giving more money to the papacy.

This is just one of many reasons I left the Catholic church.
