2. they must know something at Rawstory
Edited on Mon Mar-21-05 06:40 PM by cal04
I wouldn't doubt it was true
I don't think they would go to all the trouble and NOT know this judge would rule for them. I wouldn't doubt if he was either hand picked or threatened.

3. He can't be all bad...he's a Clinton appointee.

Also, I posted this a few minutes ago and someone said Drudge put the same heading up and then pulled it. I can't remember a time when rawstory was wrong...but I guess we'll see.

4. Unless all the attorneys were called back to court, I don't buy it.
Court was adjourned for the day with no decision being handed down by the judge.

8. If I was the judge I'd take a lengthy time deliberating the case. It would
be best if she did die before he ruled.

9. I Think If He's Smart...
this is the BEST solution. After all, the case hase been reviewed, re-reviewed, viewed and everything else, ad infinitum!

I don't mean to sound callous, but right now... I'm SICK of it!

And her husband has been made out to be some kind of Texas Chain Saw Murderer! He can't change anything now anyway, other courts have already RULED!

10. I think it would be normal for a judge to preserve the status quo
(the object of the legal controversy) pending the outcome. But this case is anything but normal.

12. Hey. My Dad was a judge, and whenever he used the tem this judge is
using"taking it under advisement, it meant he was blowing you off! I don't think he is going to decide at ALL. If he does, I don't think it will be in the parents favor. He is not going to contest nineteen fellow judges and the Supreme Court, who wouldn't hear this case! Even Scalia says Congress was wrong.
Sean Hannity was saying on the radio, I heard it accidently in someone elses car, that Congress shouldn't knuckle under to Judges. That viewpoint will not play well. This is a raw power grap and concerns the seperation of powers. They have just stepped on the courts. The Courts will fight back. I am certain of it.

15. Thanks for your perspective. I wish the MSM could "get" this
Our democracy is dependent on the corrective stress that exists between the three branches; separation is essential. The neo-cons want a universal power-grab--the Schiavo case is just an attempt to weaken the courts, which haven't been sufficiently doctrinaire for their taste. The fucking "press" or "infotainment industry" or whatever the hell they are today, seems to be incapable of sounding the alarm on this.
