Just saw on Hardball...Tweety won't let go of Lehane clip.
Edited on Thu Jan-22-04 07:22 PM by blm
For those of you in the Clark camp, please urge the campaign to get rid of Lehane. Tweety is using him to stir up acrimony with the other camps and keeps playing that clip over and over invoking Clark while doing so.

Lehane taints every campaign he touches.

Good luck. Lehane is BAD news, imo.

20. I Agree
He's sleazy & needs to go.

But Tweety, obviously does not like Clark He has been pounding on this Lehane thing for a week.

While the Iowa primary was on, many negative attacks were launched on Clark in NH. I think the Clark camp tried to retaliate & did a bad job. They should have a positive campaign.

But all the camps have their dirty tricks; look at the Edwards memo; that's politics.

2. FINALLY!
Someone BESIDES Dean is a bad person out to get Kerry now!

If you're worried about people attacking Kerry, I hope you're in it with a thicker skin. There's a long way to go.

7. Attacking Kerry isn't the problem. Lehane himself is the problem.
I didn't like him in the Kerry camp or in 2000, either. I think he's a GOP operative.

4. I agree
Kerry ditches Lehane, goes from dead and buried to stlaking the earth again.

Clark gets Lehane, stalls in the polls.....

5. Is there any reputable sources
on his history, I am not familiar with what the problem is. I thought it was interesting that the Clark campaign declined to come on the show. Tweety does seem to be on a mission, I guess we will have to watch how this goes.

And if people are saying that Lehane is a dirty political guy, I expect that there is some evidence that he is much much much more dirty than the average dirty political guy. :)

8. This A-Hole Matthews
Just said that Clark is moving down in the polls.

Now some b*tch is saying Clark has no experience and it will be very difficult for him to make any headway.

This is such Bullshit! Clark is doing fine, I will be glad to see them eat some humble pie later.

But I don't get how Tweety has guests on asserting that Clark has a "stalled" campaign. What idiots. And they get paid for telling those lies.

14. Actually you owe him a debt of graditude BLM. Were it not for the Lehane
sleaze factor, Dean would have won Iowa. Too bad he didn't realize that he'd hurt Clark in the process.

Oh well.

17. What did Lehane have to do with Iowa?
BTW, he may be a liability, but I wouldn't worry about Chris Matthews making a big deal out of it. Nobody watches "Hardball," remember?

the press. That's what *he had to do with Iowa*

Kerry should send him a Thank You card. :*

15. your past posts show you as a strong Dean supporter
That is why I wonder what makes you post this subject heading geared towards clark supporters. I mean you have a voice. There isn't a need to have others follow up on things that personally bother you. What is exactly your reasoning here?

27. Matthews showed the Dean speech clip FIVE TIMES so we can
take a bit more of Lahane.

By the way, why isn't he fired yet? Wouldn't he see that and just agree to step down for at least a while?

28. I agree - Lehane makes the campaign look TERRIBLE
Not to mention, they'd better hope he doesn't turn on THEM. This guy has no integrity, sense of loyalty or even common sense (who would want to hire HIM after this?)
