If you insist on running Kerry in 2008, here's how to do it:
First--expose the Swiftboat Shitheads and all their lies in a series of documentary exposes. This has to happen on the Internet on a scale and in a way that has never happened before. We don't have any conventional media with us, so we gotta make our own. Start now & make sure you do it thoroughly enough to really get through to the majority of decent people so that they know how evil these smears really were.

Second--Kerry needs to speak out & get media attention on a firm stance in opposition to the war. The media will cover this, attempting to make Kerry look like an unpatriotic wacko, and it will blow up in their faces because most people now oppose the war & it will continue to get more lopsided. He does need to somehow answer the "flip-flop" business effectively in the course of this message.

Third--Kerry needs to take a highly visible lead in pushing for all the economic interests of the common man. He has to be in the vanguard on saving SocSec & putting forward a realistic universal health care plan. This time he has nothing to lose; the media will already be blatantly against him, and healthcare industry money can't make it much worse. He has to be a true progressive, dammit.

And--for a mighty fourth, he has to make a BIG noise about the fairness doctrine get a majority of people to believe that the coming corporate media attacks on him are arising from the self-interest of the oligopoly of owners. If people can get it that he is being attacked unfairly, it will tend to neutralize every lie they try to tell.

8. Barney the dog has my vote
He's a Democrat you know.

Tons of charisma too.

And our current president has proven you don't need to know how to speak. Though I'm sure Barney could be trained to do that.

Only thing is, I don't know if we're ready for a black president.

What do you think?
