Time poll: 51% think country is headed in "wrong direction."
Only 44% think it's headed in the "right direction."

Somehow, Bush "won" the election, though. :eyes:

1. Republicans are ruining America
soon we'll be just like any other third
world country with huge debts in the hands
of foreign governments, an extended military
and few civil rights...

oh yeah, we're there now.

3. Our current accounts deficit is larger than any other country's
so at least we'll still be number 1.

10. Overextended military? Debt? That sounds like
Bush's platform.

2. I can't tell that we are headed
in any particular direction.

We are just sort of spinning our wheels making doughnuts in the sand like a bunch of crazy teenagers on Saturday night.

Meanwhile the "adults" in the rest of the world are getting ready to "ground" us, economically at first and then militarily if it has to come to that.

11. We're about to "ground" ourselves economically.
The debt is going to kill us.

5. I've always felt something was fishy
Every poll i've seen is pointing against bush's favor, yet if you watch news you'd think everything is great and going along smoothly.

8. Yeah, the media is always in the right's pocket, and yet they
actually have convinced people that the media is liberal! :eyes:

7. Yeah, and the economy still kinda "feels" o.k...Wait until...
The housing bubble bursts. I can easily see 60-40 in that scenario.

12. Did you ever think that some of the fundies might say we're
headed in the wrong direction because of things like abortion, Howard Stern, blacks and whites being allowed to marry, gays being allowed to live in public, we haven't nuked the middle East yet, and so on?

It would be a bit naive to think that all of the responses are being directed at the dumbass in DC.

13. You have a point, but fundies in general would say that
we're moving in the "right" direction, because we have a right wing congress and President, and with the senate in particular in Republican hands, we'll have many more far right judges in place.

16. I see your point too, but
keep in mind the courts are still full of "activist" judges and until the repubs have 61 seats, all the boogeymen they fear are still allowed to run free.

15. Yeah "51%" according to the official results.
I wonder what the results would've been without Diebold.
