4. Great
Maybe Republicians will shot each other while waving a Bible around.

Yes, I'm angry at Christians but damn it I can't get anything done in life while they claim I have to attend their church or read the Bible just for grad school. It's been 5 years and I'm 30. I just need to get things done. Is that so much to ask?

14. Agreed
I respect his Bush bashing on the war but I think he might have been reprimanded from what I see lately. Any rethug who speaks out against GW always comes back later as a hardliner.

17. So true
I actually couldn't believe how vehement he was, and so uninformed. I do believe I saw the veins stand out on his neck.

He was the ONLY RW that I could stomache listening to, and he just buried that.

25. Sage advice from Buchanan to Bush.
Do you remember that Buchanan was considered largely responsible for Bush, Sr. not being reelected? It was Buchanan's speech at the Republican National Convention.

Perhaps when Buchanan speaks, it isn't good for anyone named Bush.

18. So Buchanan, the small government conservative,
favors government involvement in the life of a private citizen?

Good to know. I thought that Buchanan, at the very least, had principles.

21. Buchanan compares the Schiavo case to Auschwitz
In his column today.

He is quite off the deep end on this one. Refers to Schiavo's "execution."

and the fact that he claimed at some point that gas chambers did not exist, this comment is very relative.

http://www.realchange.org/buchanan.htm#holocaust
...

Perhaps the single most extreme and scary thing Buchanan has done is to question whether the Holocaust was really that bad. In the course of defending Demanjuk, he argued that charges of complicity in mass murder using Treblinka's gas chambers were false -- because the gas chambers didn't really work.

In his March 17, 1990 column, he wrote that diesel engines, the exhaust from which was used in the Treblinka gas chambers, "do not emit enough carbon monoxide to kill anybody. ... Demanjuk's weapon of mass murder cannot kill."

24. How high-pitched was his screaming?
I always felt that one of Pat Buchanan's main problems is that when he gets excited, his voice goes WAY up. Similarly with Chris Matthews - perhaps the source of his outrage is that he's STILL waiting for his balls to descend fully? Maybe he's just permanently pissed that he's middle-aged and his voice still hasn't changed?

I hope Katrina Vanden Heuvel (I think - ?) is correct. That this is the beginning of the end - the GOP about to self-destruct. I hope. And I pray. I'm about to go light candles!
