My Campaign For Presidency
I have decided to take them on. I am officially announcing right here on DU my candidacy for Student Government President at my high school. My opponent is the incumbent President that is a Republican and a major Bush supporter.

In this Election I will stand to represent my fellow peers who are now facing a record deficit for such activities like Prom, Homecoming, SADD, FFA, Sports and other related activities. As President I will not turn down after school activities, I will encourage them. I will take on the School Board in their quest to do so.

I will fight to bring the best technology and the most innovative ways of learning into our school system. I will encourage twenty-first century standards of learning, and welcome my fellow students to the new generation. I will put together a band of small businesses to raise money for the deficits we face, and the Deficits we will face.

I am continuing the fight, that will never end.

Corey A Baker
President
Class of 2008

3. Yano, I kinna like the idea of involving...
the community/small business. Was trying to think of ways to work that.
- If your school has an orchestra, maybe a small group of them (string quartet/quintet) could work out playing in the local coffee shops or Barns and Noble to raise band funds.

- Art classes could work with local book store and the like to put up art as decorations, that can be sold to patrons.

Just some fast ideas but I hope it helps.

Keep up the good work, my friend.

6. Check to make sure that the local Republican Party keeps
paid staffers away. And get a paypal account for donations to the cause.

Good LUCK!
