Bush and the Repubs next defeat ?
They bit off more than they could chew with the SS "privatization" plan and also with this Schiavo "affair". They failed to recognize the "libertarian" traits in their own Party. Many Repubs still do not trust "big" government. They are very uncomfortable with Congress interceding into the lives of private citizens.

With that in mind, one could envision their next "overstep". If they attempt to add to the invasive laws already in the Patriot Act, we could anticipate the same Republicans to jump ship again, in my opinion. That will be their next defeat, if they act as foolishly as they have with SS and Schiavo..l.

And underestimated the number of states-righters.


Hmmm, maybe a majority of Americans actually don't care if George has afternoon tea with Jesus in the rose garden.

2. With King Lame Duck it will be defeat after defeat. The smart Repukes will
not side with Lame Duck when their re-election is at stake.

He is completely done and I wouldn't give a fart for his political future-or his likelihood to stay out of jail.
