What does THIS MEAN????

I tried to send the article by Cindy Sheehan about how her son was killed in Iraq and the hypocrits are blowing off about Terri Shaivo. I got these two "responses" from Senator Connie Mack and Senator Bob Ghraham. Are they allowed to BLOCK YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS? (I put "Hypocrisy in America" in the subject line on the email)

not only did they block your address but that they wanted you to KNOW that they blocked it

Can you imagine the volume of horseshit this thing is generating? I'm willing to bet they're just leaving their mailboxes full for the duration, and will delete it all en masse once it's over.

Sheesh...and Bob Graham is no longer a Senator either, although his email address might not have been deleted yet.

I would bet they are getting a gazillion e-mails right now.

The message may just mean they are not getting anything through right now.

The mail server is blocking. There's no way of telling why. Could be their mailboxes are full or they have different incoming and outgoing mail addresses or the server crashed.

I'm sure the old email address exists no longer! Sheesh.

IN the House of Reps. Bob Graham is no longer a Senator

Last I knew he was a former Senator.

I was rather wondering why sending this to two former senators.

DUH!

The Florida Senators are Bill Nelson & Mel Martinez!

...and switched to a Website based e-mail Form to stop all the hate e-mail they have been getting.

Check their congressional websites to see if the have a "contact___" page.

Some in Congress do block their email, and allow only the form email from their websites.

each time - so I just wanted to get some emails that I could shoot right through. And Connie Mack is still something and he is a repub jerk.

Why do we only have to contact Senators anyway? I sent this off to Joe Scarborough, and a couple others over there at MSNBC, (brain fog). A lot of times I just go through my "Sent Mail" folder and use those addresses.

office people (even with an intranet)will send information to each other. Of course, the office person may have directions to throw away "citizen's faxes." It wouldn't surprise me though.

Snail mail probably. Every time I have written to my congressman or Senator, I always get a response back . . . even if it is just a form letter they send everyone.

I have had emails returned when I have tried to email Senators or Representatives that were not in my state. Like I live in VA and if I wanted to email Hillary Clinton. Last time I tried, it would not go through and told me because that email was reserved for her constituents only. Just a couple ideas for you!!
