This month's Vanity Fair:
Oddly enough, Vanity Fair has outstanding political and investigative reporting. This month:

An article on former US Army Corps of Engineers auditor and KBR/Halliburton whistleblower Bunnatine Greenhouse. Sample quotes:

"The picture that emerges is of a company like the one is John Grisham's The Firm."

"When I said this work was not done, I was told it was too much information."

"KBR wanted just enough information so they could bill the government."

"Their number one objective was to close the books se they wouldn't be subject to auditing."

"When Greenhouse tried to block the next no-bid KBR contract, they got her at last."

"Hundred of millions of dollars will go unaccounted for-the waste of war, or the spoils of war." (Laundry costs that rose from 62K to 1.2 million dollars. It averages $108 a bag of laundry. That is only one example. This should be photocopied and sent to everyone you know.)

Then there is the unflinching, unsparing article on that leach, Novak:

"Novak's cross-party appeal is 'the worse example of people putting personal relations over their principles' -- Barney Frank

If you don't, subscribe. Every month there are two to three political articles that are first rate and talk about what we talk about and the MSM ignores.
