WONDERFUL Tom Tomorrow CARTOON: " BUSH NEWS NETWORK "
Be sure to look closely at what JimmyJeff GannonGuckert is doing in the last panel! I nearly fell off my chair laughing when I noticed it! My only (minor) quibble is that he calls them the "Mainstream Media."

The cartoon is from this page; http://www.workingforchange.com/comic.cfm?itemid=18761

1. So what's Guckert doing?
Is it supposed to be how many inches the weaselly little queen possesses?

3. He's winking and holding up 8 fingers. Is that gay sign language?
That's what I get out of it. Funny stuff.

4. It's the famous "8-plus inches, cut" from his ads, with a wink

7. Yeah, Tom Tomorrow really gets it right!
His cartoons can be more powerful than an article, because people "get" what he says so quickly. He's a treasure, all right. And so funny and the same time what he is portraying is really all too true.

9. He draws pretty well, too...
...he always does good likenesses of whichever famous people he has in his strips (in this case, Armstrong Williams, Gannon, and even a cut-out of Howard Dean). It's not every cartoonist that can do that--just compare to how Ted Rall draws to really see what a solid draughtsman Tom Tomorrow is.

11. You're right! His real people really are recognizable
When you consider how small and simply they are drawn and colored, that is truly remarkable. I hadn't thought about that, and I'm glad you drew my attention to it. When added to his ability to get to the essence of an issue in a way that so perfectly punctures pomposity and exposes hypocrisy and hyperbole, he really is a marvel!

10. I have been looking for a Tom Tomorrow book at the bookstore
but haven't found one. Does anyone know if he has put out a collection of his cartoons? I love them and have them posted all over the walls in my office.
